John has 20 years of programming experience including 11 years as technical lead producing web based products, applications and interactive multimedia for technology and financial companies. Prior to joining DesignMind, John was the Director of Software Engineering at MiFund Inc., a Web-based mutual fund research and trading service. At MiFund, he established the development process, created a variety of research capabilities, integrated data feeds to and from vendors such as Reuters, and oversaw support and maintenance operations. He managed the production of an asset allocation software product distributed by OppenheimerFunds, John Hancock, and Security Benefit to their mutual fund brokers.

John has a broad knowledge of programming environments and web technologies. He currently specializes in C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server 2005. He is well versed in OO design patterns and methodologies. Past clients include InterActive Media Solutions, Kimpton Hotels, Open Finance Technologies, Spy Media, Gyration, Visa, and Wells Fargo.
