WEBfolio needed an online financial management system
for their portfolio managers. They selected DesignMind
to develop this system, based on our experience with
similar systems, and because they had very demanding
user interface requirements.
WEBfolio's portfolio managers need a web-based application
with a sophisticated Windows-like interface. DesignMind
created a Java application that utilizes a lightweight
applet interface. This interface allowed us to use SWING
components. This applet-based interface utilizes DesignMind's
Advantage DM application framework, providing a level
of usability not achieved by competing products.
WEBfolio utilizes Java, WebLogic, TopLink, and Oracle.
