Red Gate Software came to San Francisco on October 23rd, as part of their ongoing SQL in the City tour. This was a one-day event, with speakers from the Red Gate team, along with a few local experts.
It was great to catch up with Grant Fritchey and Steve Jones, and to hear some excellent presentations. I also got to chat with Red Gate’s Chief Marketing Officer, John Theron, Ernest Hwang, Denny Cherry, and a lot of the Red Gate crew.
SQL in the City was established in 2011. Since then they’ve hosted 16 events, bringing together database professionals, the SQL Server community, and Redgate for an awesome day of SQL Server training the Redgate way. Thousands of data professionals have had the opportunity to meet the faces behind Redgate’s ingeniously simple tools, and to learn valuable knowledge about key SQL Server topics from the best speakers in the industry. The event allowed for in-depth discussion with Redgate developers, product managers, and many top SQL Server MVP speakers.
SQL in the City San Francisco covered at lot of great info useful not only to SQL Server folks, but also to .NET professionals. You can see all the SQL in the City videos here. Thanks for dropping by San Francisco, Red Gate!
